Terms and Conditions
1. General Provisions
COPYCAT is a project of INVESTATE GmbH, Obere Augartenstraße 1, 1020 Vienna, Austria. Hereinafter, COPYCAT is referred to as the "Seller." These General Terms and Conditions (also referred to as "GTC") apply to all contracts concluded via our online shop between us and our customers. By placing an order, you accept these GTC.
2. Prices and Payment Terms
2.1. The prices stated are total prices and include the statutory value-added tax. Any additional delivery and shipping costs will be specified separately in the product description.
2.2. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional costs (e.g., transfer fees, customs duties) may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.
2.3. Currently, payment methods available are processing via Stripe and PayPal. Payment is due immediately upon order and is processed either via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. or PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.
2.4. In case of late payment, the seller is entitled to charge default interest at the statutory rate. This is 4% p.a. for consumers and 9.2% p.a. above the base interest rate for entrepreneurs.
3. Delivery Terms
3.1. Shipping will be carried out by a transport company chosen by the Seller. Order processing until shipment may take up to 10 business days. The Seller is not liable for delays due to the shipping time of the shipping provider.
4. Right of Return and Return Costs
4.1. The statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days applies. The customer bears the return shipping costs.
4.2. If the returned goods show signs of use or a decrease in value due to unnecessary testing of the condition and functionality, a corresponding depreciation will be calculated and deducted from the refund amount.
4.3. The withdrawal or return must be made in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods to the email address hello@copycat.at. The goods must also be returned within these 14 days.
5. Warranty and Guarantee
5.1. All products are subject to the statutory warranty rights under Austrian law. Under the warranty, the seller is liable for defects that existed at the time of delivery for a period of two years from purchase (corresponding to the invoice date).
5.2. In addition, the seller offers a 6-month warranty for proper function from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed (e.g., 2-year warranty). Within this warranty period, the seller will, at its discretion, provide free repair or replacement of the product.
5.3. The warranty does not apply to damages due to improper handling, environmental factors (moisture, extreme temperatures), failure to observe the operating instructions, or unauthorized repair attempts. Straps, especially those not made of metal, are considered consumables. Normal wear and tear, as well as color and/or material changes (patina) and leather wear, are common and are not covered by warranty or guarantee.
